Accepting New Patients at Classic Dental Wellness in Bedford, Texas
We’re excited to welcome new patients to our practice! Let us know if there’s anything our staff can do to make the visit more comfortable. We don’t waste our patient’s time; we’re committed to running on schedule.
Please complete our online forms prior to the visit. If unable to do so, please arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled appointment to do so. Bring any identification, insurance cards, and medication history when you come to the office. Prior insurance verification is available for our patients’ convenience.
If a patient has seen a dentist in the last six months, they generally will see the hygienist first before meeting with the doctor.
Visiting the Office
Upon arrival, our friendly front desk staff greet everyone with a smile. An assistant takes the patient’s temperature and personal information, before escorting them to a consultation room to meet the doctor. They will review all health and dental history and find out what needs or concerns brought them in.
Next, we’ll proceed to the examination room, where the doctor will take the patient’s blood pressure, do a head and neck exam, and check their airway before leaning them back to check their teeth. He charts all the dental procedures the patient has had over the years, and then has his assistant take any necessary x-rays.
Once that’s done, the doctor reviews the X-rays with the patient and discusses any needed treatment. Finally, he does a periodontal exam to check for gum issues and an oral cancer screening.
After discussing their options, we always ask our patients if they have any questions. Many patients often forget to ask questions before they leave, after going over so much information.
